As a quality access provider Health and Safety has been a high priority for Godiva since its formation and as the company has grown it has increased its investment in this crucial area.
We use the services of health and safety professional advisers to develop the company systems to meet the growing demands of the industry in this area. The introduction of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations placed greater pressures on companies to improve the planning and implementation of construction contracts with particular emphasis on health and safety training.
At Godiva, we consider the scaffolding health and safety element of each contract no matter how large or small as part of the tender process, even when we are providing estimates for customers pre tender submissions. All live works are subject to full method statement and risk assessment, carried out by our safety professional and qualified contract managers.
Scaffolding Safety Training and Checklists
Scaffolding Safety Training is a key factor in ensuring a competent professional workforce equipped to meet the challenges of an ever changing industry. The scaffolding company operates a very active training program throughout the workforce, and we are renowned for our attitude towards safety and our professional approach to all works. All scaffolders are trained and registered CISRS card holders, with back staff holding a minimum CSCS site operative card and where required staff also have PASMA and IPAF training qualifications and specialist tool training.
